Snakes for Preschoolers

Friday we went to Scioto Darby Metro Park for Snakes for Preschoolers. It was really great! They read a story, got to see and touch a snake, made a snake craft and finally did a snake dance around the room. Next month is all about worms, they love worms.
Feeding the ducks
Wednesday we went to Franklin Park to feed the ducks. I called it a 'surprise adventure' and made them each surprise bags with their names on them. I gave them clues on the way there about where we were going and what was in the bags.

Friday was Will's first birthday. We celebrated by making him a cake giving him his cool gift, a little riding car.

Cosi
This morning we decided to take a trip to Cosi. This time Marlo and Owen wanted to stuff themselves into the seats at the baby water table with Will. All 3 were soaking wet when we left. Tomorrow is Baby Will's first birthday! We're gonna make him yummy cupcakes.

Great Weather
On Friday it was too nice outside to worry about naps so we skipped naps and spent the afternoon at the park.

Food for birds and squirrels
We made bags full of bird seed and peanuts and scattered them around the yard. Then we went inside and waited to see them come and feast.
