So, we hit the jackpot this morning at Chucks. The employees play all the games to check them before they open and then they leave all the tickets hanging out of the games for the first costumers. JACKPOT! We ended up with nearly 600 tickets. I was much more excited than Marlo and Owen, they just wanted a sucker. We ended up with lots of loot and I only spent $5. I think Chucks will be seeing a lot more of us.

Costume Crazy

We had more costume fun this morning. Aunt Linda sent Marlo these costumes she picked up at a garage sale. We all laughed hysterically at the neon craziness and I couldn't quite get the fairy wings to work on the other one. All we had for Owen was the pirate hat but he was more than okay with that. So, they dressed up and danced around the living room. They also spent much time looking at their reflection in the fireplace.

I dressed Will up in some costumes from Marlo's first Halloween yesterday. I could only fit half his body in the chicken and as you can see he loved dressing up like a dalmation.

Chocolate Suckers

Friday afternoon we made chocolate suckers. This is video of them enjoying the goodies leftover in the bowl. Also, for those who have never heard one of Will's shrieks now you will see it is not just a legend.

Friends Visit

Friday morning Mackenzie, Natalie and Baby Leighton (kids from Marlo's old sitter) came over to play. There was a lot of dancing, wrestling and pretend trick or treating. The babies also had fun staring at each other.

Slate Run Park

Wednesday we took a trip to Slate Run Metro Park which is southeast of Columbus. It ended up being a really long trip (1 hour each way) so it was a good thing we had packed our lunch. We stayed for 2 hours and they made friends with two little boys named Will and Charlie.

We went to Circle S Farms with Owen and Sarah on Friday. These are the only pics I got to take before my camera batteries died. It was a lot of fun but there were way too many people there. 13 School buses!

Zoo

We went to the zoo Tuesday with Juanita, her friend Betty and Betty's grandson Andy. We were there over 4 hours and sadly this is the only photo I took. The only upset of the day was finding out that Chick-fil-A at the zoo closes in the fall. Sad.

Renick Farms

We took Marlo to Renick family farms close to Circleville a couple weeks ago. It ended up being a really hot day at not so much like Fall fun. Either way, she really enjoyed it and hopefully we'll make lots more pumpkin patch trips before November.
